Varahi Amman

Goddess Varahi Amman is a very powerful deity worshiped for protection from Evil eye, Evil spirits, black magic and accidents.
She is worshipped to become free from fear, doubt and to gain courage and confidence. Varahi Amman protects the devotee from diseases and Enemies and blesses a devotee with happiness prosperity, knowledge and wisdom.
Varahi Amman is one of the sabthakannigas and the female representation of Varaham, the third Avatar of Lord Vishnu.

Varahi Amman is the chief of Army of the of Devi Lalitha Tripura Sundari the supreme mother goddess.
Legends hold that Varahi Amman fought several battles for Devi Lalitha Tripura Sundari and assisted the mother Supreme to annihilate the three most fear some Demons Sumba-Nisumba, Bandasura and Rakhta bheja.
Varahi Amman is of dark or dark blue complexion with eight hands carrying powerful weapons. Lion, Eagle or sometimes corpse are her vahanas.
